Figures are based on annual CTC. Actual take-home pay depends on your salary structure and deductions.

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter your current annual CTC.
  2. The hike is preset to 25% — change it any time to compare other percentages.
  3. Read the new CTC, annual increase and monthly difference.

Formula

New CTC = Current CTC × 1.25

Worked example

₹8,00,000 × 1.25 = ₹10,00,000 (10 LPA). Annual increase ₹2,00,000; monthly equivalent rises from ₹66,667 to ₹83,333.

Assumptions

  • The 25% applies to the full annual CTC you enter.
  • Monthly figures are the annual amount divided by twelve.

Limitations

Taxes, PF and salary structure are not modelled here, so treat the result as a comparison figure rather than a take-home projection.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a 25% hike on my salary?

Multiply your current CTC by 1.25. For example, ₹10,00,000 becomes ₹1,250,000.

Is a 25% hike good?

It is a strong raise, usually linked to a job switch, promotion or in-demand skills.

Will my in-hand salary also rise by 25%?

Not exactly. Part of a CTC increase can go into employer PF, gratuity or variable pay, and higher income can attract higher tax deductions.
