Workday Calculators
View allWhat can you calculate?
These tools cover the numbers Indian employees look up most often during appraisals and job changes: percentage salary hikes, CTC increases in LPA, appraisal increments, the monthly equivalent of an annual CTC, and an estimate of how much more take-home pay you may see.
On the job-change side you can estimate your last working day from a resignation date, work backwards to find when to resign, estimate a notice period buyout amount, and plan the earliest realistic joining date for a new employer.
The workday tools count working days between two dates or add working days to a date, with Monday–Friday, Monday–Saturday or fully custom working weeks and your own holiday list.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a salary hike percentage calculated?
Hike percentage = ((New salary − Old salary) ÷ Old salary) × 100. For example, going from ₹6,00,000 to ₹7,20,000 is a ₹1,20,000 increase, which is a 20% hike.
What is the difference between CTC and in-hand salary?
CTC is the total annual cost to the company and includes employer PF, gratuity, insurance and variable pay. In-hand salary is what reaches your bank account after PF, professional tax, income tax and other deductions, so it is always lower than CTC ÷ 12.
How long is a notice period in India?
There is no single nationwide figure. Notice periods of 30, 45, 60 and 90 days are all common, and your employment contract and employer policy decide what applies to you.
How do I find my last working day?
Add your notice period to your resignation date. Use calendar days if your contract counts calendar days, or working days if your employer counts only office days. Always confirm the final date with HR.
How are working days counted?
Working days exclude your weekly offs (Sunday, or Saturday and Sunday) and any holidays you list. Because holidays differ by state, employer and year, our calculators let you add your own holiday list instead of assuming a fixed calendar.
Do you store my salary details?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Your inputs are not sent to a server and no account is required.
